Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of the iCubate Gram Negative (iC-GN) Assay in a clinical setting.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of the iCubate Gram Negative (iC-GN) Assay in a clinical setting.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of a diagnostic test for identifying gram-negative bacterial infections in a clinical setting. Gram-negative bacteria are a type of bacteria that can cause infections and are characterized by their cell wall structure, which makes them resistant to some antibiotics.
Participants in this study will undergo testing using the diagnostic assay. The procedures involve collecting samples, which will be analyzed to assess the assay's effectiveness in detecting gram-negative bacteria.
- Who can participate: Participants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including being adults aged 18 or older. Additional eligibility factors may include having symptoms of a gram-negative bacterial infection or being at risk for such infections.
- Study details: Participants will provide samples that will be tested using the investigational diagnostic assay. The study does not involve any treatment, and participants are not required to take any medication.
