The purpose of this study is to investigate how first-year medical students who identify as LGBTQA+ navigate their first year in medical school. This study aims to understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by these students during their initial year of medical training.
Participants will be asked to share their experiences through interviews and surveys. The study will focus on understanding the social, academic, and emotional aspects of their first-year journey.
- Who can participate: First-year medical students who identify as LGBTQA+ and are typically aged 18 and above are eligible to participate in this study.
- Study details: Participants will engage in interviews and complete surveys to share their experiences and challenges during their first year.
