This study will retrospectively identify patients at IU Health Riley Hospital who underwent congenital diaphragmatic hernia treatment between 2010 and 2018 and survived.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

Age: 100 years or below

Gender: All
This study investigates the outcomes of patients who have undergone treatment for congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a birth defect where there is an opening in the diaphragm. This condition can cause organs from the belly to move into the chest, affecting lung development.
The study will look at patients treated between 2010 and 2018 at IU Health Riley Hospital. Researchers will review past medical records to gather information about the treatments and outcomes of these patients.
- Who can participate: Patients who were treated for congenital diaphragmatic hernia at IU Health Riley Hospital between 2010 and 2018 and survived are eligible.
