T2Bacteria Panel Post Lung Transplant Patients Study
Investigating an Investigational Test in Post-Lung Transplant Patients
Brief description of study.
This study is to evaluate the T2Bacteria Panel on blood samples collected from post lung transplant patients that are suspected of sepsis or pneumonia.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Lung Transplant, Sepsis, Pneumonia
-
Age: 18 years - 95 years
-
Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Post lung transplant and suspected of having sepsis or pneumonia.
Exclusion Criteria
Has other co-morbid condition(s) that, in the opinion of the Investigator, could limit the subject’s ability to participate in the study or impact the scientific integrity of the study.
Hs had previous specimens tested by the T2Bacteria Panel with valid results.
This study investigates the T2Bacteria Panel, which is a test performed on blood samples. The purpose is to evaluate its effectiveness in patients who have had a lung transplant and are suspected of having sepsis or pneumonia. Sepsis is a serious condition caused by the body's response to an infection, while pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in the lungs.
Participants will have their blood tested using the T2Bacteria Panel. This test aims to identify specific bacteria present in the blood, which can help in understanding and managing infections in post-lung transplant patients.
- Who can participate: Participants must have undergone a lung transplant and be suspected of having sepsis or pneumonia. Those with other health conditions affecting participation or prior valid investigational test results are excluded.
- Study details: Participants will have blood samples collected and tested using the investigational test to detect bacteria. The test aims to provide information on bacterial presence in the blood.
