Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how people communicate using Animoji on the Apple iPhone X (and later versions).

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria

Participants must own an iPhone X or a later iPhone model
Participants must have at least some experience with animoji
Participants must be available for an in-person interview in Bloomington, IN
Must be a fluent English speaker

This study investigates how people use Animoji, a feature on Apple iPhones, to communicate. Animoji allows users to create animated emoji that mimic their facial expressions. The purpose of this study is to understand the ways in which this technology is utilized in everyday communication.

Participants in the study will take part in in-person interviews. During these interviews, they will be asked about their experiences and preferences when using Animoji. This will help the researchers gather detailed insights into user interactions with this feature.

  • Who can participate: Participants must own an iPhone X or a later model, have experience with Animoji, and be available for an in-person interview in Bloomington, IN. Fluency in English is required.
  • Study details: Participants will be required to attend an in-person interview where they will discuss their use of Animoji. This will involve sharing their experiences and preferences.
