The purpose of this study is to determine if children with minor brain abnormalities have difficulties in reading and/or intelligence problems.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia, Cortical Dysplasia

Age: 7 years - 18 years

Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to determine if children with minor brain abnormalities have difficulties in reading and/or intelligence problems. Brain abnormalities refer to slight differences in the brain's structure that may affect how it works.
Participants will undergo various tests to assess their reading skills and intelligence. These tests will help researchers understand the potential impact of brain abnormalities on these abilities.
- Who can participate: The study is looking for children aged 6-12 who have been diagnosed with minor brain abnormalities.
- Study details: Participants will take part in reading and intelligence tests. These tests will evaluate their abilities in these areas. If applicable, a placebo will be used: an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine.
