Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to find out if there are specific factors such as age, other medical conditions or illnesses, heart rate or a hormone in the blood called B type natriuretic peptide can determine who is most likely to have atrial fibrillation

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to find out if there are specific factors such as age, other medical conditions or illnesses, heart rate or a hormone in the blood called B type natriuretic peptide can determine who is most likely to have atrial fibrillation

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Atrial Fibrillation
  • Age: 40 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate if certain factors such as age, other medical conditions, heart rate, or a hormone in the blood called B type natriuretic peptide can determine who is most likely to develop atrial fibrillation. Atrial fibrillation is a condition where the heart beats irregularly or too fast, which can lead to various health issues.

Participants in the study will undergo a series of tests to measure their heart rate and levels of B type natriuretic peptide, among other health assessments. These procedures will help identify potential links between these factors and the likelihood of developing atrial fibrillation.

  • Who can participate: Eligibility criteria are not specified in the provided information.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo tests to measure heart rate and blood levels of B type natriuretic peptide. These tests are part of the study procedures to assess potential risk factors for atrial fibrillation (a condition where the heart beats irregularly or too fast).
