This study is being done to compare two types of surgery currently used for rectal cancer.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Rectal Cancer

Age: 18 years - 100 years

Gender: All
This study investigates two different types of surgery used to treat rectal cancer. Rectal cancer is a disease where cancer cells form in the tissues of the rectum, which is the last several inches of the large intestine closest to the anus.
Participants in the study will undergo one of the two surgical procedures being compared. The study will observe outcomes related to the effectiveness and safety of these procedures.
- Who can participate: The study is open to adults diagnosed with rectal cancer. Additional eligibility criteria may apply.
- Study details: Participants will be assigned to one of the two surgical procedures and their recovery and outcomes will be monitored.
