The purpose of this study is to identify a novel protein in the gel like substance of the eye (the vitreous).

The purpose of this study is to identify a novel protein in the gel like substance of the eye (the vitreous).

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Ocular Disease
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates a protein found in the vitreous, which is the gel-like substance inside the eye. The vitreous helps maintain the eye's shape and supports the retina, which is the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye.

Participants in this study will undergo procedures to collect samples of the vitreous for analysis. The study aims to understand more about the proteins present in this part of the eye.
