Through extensive patient chart review, we hope to demonstrate the profound effect of poor nutrition and vitamin deficiencies on surgical patients and their subsequent healing process.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Scurvy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how poor nutrition and vitamin deficiencies affect patients who have undergone surgery. It aims to understand how these factors influence the healing process after surgical procedures.

Participants will have their medical charts reviewed to assess their nutritional status and vitamin levels. This will help identify any correlations between these factors and their recovery after surgery.

  • Who can participate: Eligible participants are adults aged 18 years and older who have recently undergone surgery. Additional criteria include a willingness to have their medical records reviewed for nutritional and vitamin assessments.
  • Study details: Participants will have their medical charts reviewed to assess their nutritional status and vitamin levels. No direct interventions will be made.
