This study investigates the effectiveness of an investigational medication given alone or together with another substance in treating advanced kidney cancer. Advanced kidney cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the kidneys and has spread to other parts of the body. This study focuses on patients whose cancer cannot be removed by surgery and has specific characteristics known as sarcomatoid features.
Participants will receive either the investigational medication alone or with an additional substance. The study will monitor how well these treatments work in managing the cancer.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with advanced kidney cancer that cannot be surgically removed and exhibits sarcomatoid features are eligible. Participants must meet specific health criteria and should not have received certain prior treatments.
- Study details: Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational medication alone or in combination with another substance. This assignment is random, like flipping a coin.
