Hoosier Brain Project
Study on Brain Function and Structure
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to investigate individual differences in brain function and structure. Participants are asked to provide a saliva sample, complete some questionnaires, and have a MRI scan.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to investigate several cognitive processes. The research will involve computer-based tasks being performed while obtaining magnetic resonance imaging.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
This study investigates individual differences in brain function and structure. The purpose is to explore how different cognitive processes are related to brain activity and structure. Participants will take part in tasks that help researchers understand these processes better.
During the study, participants will provide a saliva sample, complete questionnaires, and undergo an MRI scan. They will also perform computer-based tasks while their brain activity is measured using magnetic resonance imaging, which helps create a picture of the brain's structure and function.
- Who can participate: Participants aged 18-65, without neurological disorders, and not currently on psychoactive medications are eligible to participate.
- Study details: Participants will provide a saliva sample, complete questionnaires, and undergo an MRI scan. They will also perform computer-based tasks while brain activity is recorded.
