Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to learn the growth rate of nails in relation to age, gender, and handedness, as well as to analyze nail composition.

Detailed description of study

The objectives of this study are to investigate nail growth rate and nail composition in adults as well as to provide useful information for future researchers who employ nails as a reliable biomarker.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the growth rate of nails and how it relates to factors like age, gender, and whether a person is left or right-handed. The study also aims to analyze the composition of nails, which means looking at what nails are made of and how this might vary among different people.

Participants in the study will have their nail growth measured and samples taken to study the nail composition. These procedures will help researchers understand how nails grow and what they are made of, which could be important for future research using nails as biomarkers.

  • Who can participate: Eligible participants are adults aged 18-65 years. Key factors include being generally healthy, without any nail disorders or conditions affecting nail growth.
  • Study details: Participants will have their nail growth measured and samples taken for analysis. A placebo is not applicable in this study.
