Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the treatment success in patients undergoing drainage of a peripancreatic fluid collection via their procedure reports.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the treatment success in patients who have a peripancreatic fluid collection. A peripancreatic fluid collection is a buildup of fluid around the pancreas, which can occur due to inflammation or injury. This study will look at how well the drainage procedure, which is a method to remove the fluid, works for these patients.

Participants in the study will undergo drainage procedures and their results will be evaluated through their medical reports. This will help researchers understand how effective the procedure is in treating the condition.

  • Who can participate: Participants aged 18 and older with a diagnosis of peripancreatic fluid collection due to inflammation or injury are eligible. Exclusion criteria include individuals with contraindications to drainage procedures or severe comorbid conditions.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo a drainage procedure to remove fluid from around the pancreas. Their medical reports will be used to evaluate the success of the procedure.
