The purpose of this study is to examine whether the feeling of certain emotions can be accentuated or attenuated by performing certain actions such as making fist vs. open hand.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the feeling of certain emotions can be accentuated or attenuated by performing certain actions such as making a fist versus an open hand. Emotions are feelings like happiness, anger, or sadness, and this study looks at how these might change with different hand movements.

Participants in the study will be asked to perform specific hand gestures, such as making a fist or keeping an open hand, to observe any changes in their emotional responses. These procedures are designed to help researchers understand the potential connection between physical actions and emotional feelings.

  • Who can participate: Individuals aged 18-65 who do not have any physical limitations affecting hand movements are eligible to participate.
