Esophageal String Test in Eosinophilic Esophagitis
Investigation of Investigational Molecular Targets for Esophageal Diseases
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to identify molecules and molecular pathways that will provide targets for development of novel anti-inflammatory treatments for esophageal diseases in the future.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to identify molecules and molecular pathways that will provide targets for development of novel anti-inflammatory treatments for esophageal diseases in the future.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Eosinophilic Esophagitis
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates the identification of molecules and molecular pathways that could serve as targets for future anti-inflammatory treatments for esophageal diseases. Esophageal diseases affect the tube that connects the throat to the stomach and can cause symptoms like heartburn and difficulty swallowing.
Participants in this study will undergo procedures to collect samples and data necessary for identifying these molecular targets. This may involve tests and assessments to understand the underlying molecular processes involved in esophageal diseases.
- Who can participate: Participants should be adults diagnosed with esophageal diseases. Specific eligibility criteria will be provided by the study coordinators.
- Study details: Participants will provide samples and undergo tests to identify potential targets for treatment.
