The purpose of this study is to examine lexical transfer and syntactic development in Spanish as a second language by native English speakers.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to examine how native English speakers learn Spanish as a second language. It focuses on understanding lexical transfer, which is how words from one language influence another, and syntactic development, which is the way sentences are structured in a new language.

Participants in the study will be involved in various language learning activities. These activities are designed to observe how they acquire new vocabulary and construct sentences in Spanish.

  • Who can participate: This study is open to native English speakers who are learning Spanish as a second language. There are no specific age restrictions for participation.
