The purpose of this study is to examine how young children develop language. Specifically, the researchers will explore how caregiver interaction influences language acquisition.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: hearing impaired
  • Age: 1 years - 4 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how young children develop language. The researchers are interested in understanding how interactions with caregivers can influence language acquisition. Language acquisition refers to the process by which children learn to understand and communicate language during early childhood.

Participants will be observed in various settings to see how their interactions with caregivers might affect their language skills. Observations will be conducted to gather data on the children's language development in natural environments.

  • Who can participate: Participants should be young children, typically aged 1 to 5 years, with no known developmental disorders.
  • Study details: Participants will be observed in their natural environments to collect data on their language development. No medication or placebo is involved as this is an observational study.
