The purpose of this study is to examine how African American, low SES, middle school students make meaning out of work and careers.

The purpose of this study is to examine how African American, low SES, middle school students make meaning out of work and careers.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how African American middle school students from low socioeconomic backgrounds understand and perceive work and careers. The study aims to explore the factors that influence their career aspirations and choices.

Participants will be asked to engage in interviews and complete surveys about their thoughts and feelings regarding different careers. This will help researchers gather data on the students' perspectives and the influences shaping their career decisions.
