The purpose of this study is to measure the concentrations of different molecules in blood to see how these molecules affect organ dysfunction and healing after a traumatic event.

The purpose of this study is to measure the concentrations of different molecules in blood to see how these molecules affect organ dysfunction and healing after a traumatic event.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Multiple Organ Dysfunction
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the concentrations of different molecules in the blood and their impact on organ dysfunction following a traumatic event. Trauma can cause serious injuries, and understanding these molecules can help us learn more about how the body responds to such injuries.

Participants in the study will have their blood drawn to measure the levels of various molecules. The study will analyze these levels to see how they relate to the function of organs after trauma.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18-65 who have experienced a traumatic injury. Participants must not have any pre-existing chronic organ dysfunction.
  • Study details: Participants will have blood samples taken to measure molecule concentrations. The study will compare these concentrations to organ function after trauma. A placebo (an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine) may be used for comparison.
