Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: endoscopic transphenoidal pituitary macroadenoma
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the outcomes and procedures for safely discharging patients who have undergone endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery. Endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove tumors from the pituitary gland through the nose.

The study will examine the protocols used during and after the surgery to ensure patients can be safely discharged on the first day after their surgery. This includes looking at the care patients receive and how their recovery is monitored.

  • Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18-65 who are scheduled for endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery to remove pituitary tumors. Key eligibility factors include no prior pituitary surgery, no significant comorbidities, and the ability to follow post-operative care instructions.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery and follow specific peri-operative protocols to assess their readiness for discharge on the first day after surgery.
