The purpose of this study is to examine under what conditions corporate financial disclosures can compensate for poor investment judgment due to lack of comparability on the face of the financial statements.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: JDM
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate how corporate financial disclosures can affect investment decisions when financial statements lack comparability. Financial disclosures are reports that companies provide to give information about their financial performance and position. This study aims to understand how these disclosures might help investors make better decisions even when the financial statements are not easily comparable.

Participants in this study will review different types of corporate financial disclosures and make investment decisions based on the information provided. The study will assess how these disclosures influence their investment choices and whether they can improve judgment in the absence of comparable financial statements.
