The purpose of this study is to examine how accurately English-speaking learners of Spanish store Spanish words in their mental dictionaries, since /p, t and k/ in Spanish are actually more similar to /b, d, and g/ in English.

The purpose of this study is to examine how accurately English-speaking learners of Spanish store Spanish words in their mental dictionaries. In particular, the study focuses on the sounds /p, t, and k/ in Spanish, which are more similar to /b, d, and g/ in English. This research aims to understand how these differences affect language learning.
Participants will undergo procedures to test their understanding and storage of Spanish words. The study will involve listening to and repeating Spanish words to analyze how these sounds are processed and remembered. This will help determine the accuracy of word storage in the participants' mental dictionaries.
