The purpose of this study is to explore how international students view their own identity and power relations in the ESL classroom and to examine how these two factors influence their ESL learning.

The purpose of this study is to explore how international students view their own identity and power relations in the ESL classroom and to examine how these two factors influence their ESL learning.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to explore how international students perceive their identity and power dynamics in the English as a Second Language (ESL) classroom. The study aims to understand how these perceptions impact their learning experiences.

Participants will engage in interviews and surveys to share their views on identity and power in the classroom. These methods will help gather detailed insights into their personal experiences and learning processes.

  • Who can participate: International students aged 18 and above who are currently enrolled in ESL programs are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will be asked to complete surveys and participate in interviews. These activities will focus on their experiences and perceptions in the ESL classroom.
