The purpose of this study is to examine the use of naloxone by police officers in Indianapolis, IN.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to examine the use of naloxone by police officers in Indianapolis, IN. Naloxone is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, which is when someone takes too much of a drug like heroin or prescription pain medications.

In this study, police officers will be observed and evaluated on how they use naloxone in real-life situations. This includes understanding the procedures they follow and the outcomes of their interventions.

  • Who can participate: Participants in this study are police officers in Indianapolis, IN. There are no additional eligibility criteria beyond being a police officer.
  • Study details: Participants will be observed during their routine duties to assess their use of naloxone in opioid overdose situations.
