Brief description of study.

This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of stereotactic body radiation therapy in treating patients with breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, or prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine the recommended stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) dose for each of the metastatic locations being treated given the individual and overlapping fields when multiple metastases are treated with SBRT in a national clinical trials network setting.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: breast carcinoma,non-small cell lung carcinoma,breast cancer,non-small cell lung cancer,prostate cancer
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the use of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in patients with breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, or prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. SBRT is a type of radiation therapy that precisely targets cancer cells, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

Participants will receive SBRT at varying doses to find the best dose for treating cancer that has spread to different areas of the body. This involves carefully planning and delivering radiation to ensure the treatment is safe and effective.

  • Who can participate: Participants must be adults diagnosed with breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, or prostate cancer that has metastasized.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo SBRT at varying doses to determine the optimal dose for treating metastatic cancer. The study involves planning and delivering radiation safely and effectively.
