This study investigates eating behaviors and food choices in patients who have just been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM). Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus is a condition where the body does not produce insulin, a hormone needed to allow sugar to enter cells to produce energy. This study aims to understand how these patients' eating habits change within the first year after their diagnosis.
Participants will be asked to report on their eating habits, including what types of food they choose and how much they eat. This information will help researchers understand if and how eating behaviors become more structured after a T1DM diagnosis.
- Who can participate: Individuals aged [age range] who have been recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) are eligible to participate.
- Study details: Participants will need to provide information about their eating habits and food choices. This may involve keeping a food diary or answering questionnaires about their meals.
