The purpose of this study is to understand why tween media is increasingly popular, among groups of many different ages; to understand specific fan behaviors of these groups and how they might differ from other fans; to consider how interest in this media develops and is passed amongst fans; and to better learn how fans use their interest in this media to express their own identities.

The purpose of this study is to understand why tween media is increasingly popular, among groups of many different ages; to understand specific fan behaviors of these groups and how they might differ from other fans; to consider how interest in this media develops and is passed amongst fans; and to better learn how fans use their interest in this media to express their own identities.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the increasing popularity of tween media among various age groups. It aims to understand the specific behaviors of fans in these groups and how they differ from fans of other media types. The study also explores how interest in tween media develops and is shared among fans.

Participants will be observed to see how they use their interest in tween media to express their identities. The study will involve surveys and interviews to gather data on fan behaviors and identity expression related to tween media.
