The purpose of this study is to analyze discourse styles of politeness and impoliteness of Craigslist users in email interactions.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the ways people use polite and impolite language when communicating through emails on Craigslist. The study aims to understand how different styles of communication are used in online interactions.

Participants will engage in email conversations, which will be analyzed for their language style. The study will look at how politeness and impoliteness are expressed in these interactions.
