The purpose of this study is to quantify the mean time to treatment for patients treated at the IU Health Digestive and Liver Disease Clinic for hepatitis C genotype 1, who utilize either external specialty pharmacies of the IU Health Specialty Pharmacy Service for medication procurement.

The purpose of this study is to quantify the mean time to treatment for patients treated at the IU Health Digestive and Liver Disease Clinic for hepatitis C genotype 1, who utilize either external specialty pharmacies of the IU Health Specialty Pharmacy Service for medication procurement.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: hepatitis C

Age: 100 years or below

This study investigates the time it takes for patients with hepatitis C genotype 1 to start treatment. Hepatitis C is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus, and genotype 1 is one of its types. The study focuses on patients treated at the IU Health Digestive and Liver Disease Clinic.
Participants in this study will receive their medications from either external specialty pharmacies or the IU Health Specialty Pharmacy Service. The study will measure how long it takes for patients to begin their treatment after the medication is prescribed.
