Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study it to evaluate the potential of using SVF and ASCs to accelerate and enhance the healing of acute (burn) and chronic wounds when combined with commercial or novel substrates.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Wound Healing
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of investigational treatments to improve the healing of acute and chronic wounds. Acute wounds can include burns, while chronic wounds are those that do not heal easily over time. The study looks at combining stem cells and other substances to see if they help wounds heal better.

Participants in the study may receive different treatments that involve investigational methods. These methods use cells and materials that might help the skin repair itself. The study will compare how well these treatments work.

  • Who can participate: Participants aged 18 and older with acute or chronic wounds are eligible. Key eligibility factors include non-healing wounds despite standard care and no history of allergic reactions to investigational substances.
  • Study details: Participants will receive treatments that may include investigational methods using cells and materials to help wounds heal. Some participants might receive a placebo, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational treatment but does not contain any medicine.
