Clinical Utility of the Aptima HBV Quant Assay Using the Panther System in Plasma Samples from HBV-infected Subjects Initiating Anti-HBV Therapy; Reproducibility Study of the Aptima HBV Quant Assay on the Panther System
Investigation of an Investigational HBV Assay Using De-Identified Samples
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to test de-identified samples sent to our site to be tested on the Panther instrument with a new HBV assay.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to test de-identified samples sent to our site to be tested on the Panther instrument with a new HBV assay.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: HBV
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate a new test for Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) using de-identified samples. De-identified samples are those that do not contain any personal information about the patients they came from. The study aims to evaluate how well the test works in identifying HBV.
Participants in the study will have their de-identified samples tested using an instrument called the Panther. The Panther instrument is a machine used to carry out tests on samples to detect the presence of viruses like HBV. The study will not involve any direct interaction with participants, as it focuses on testing the samples.
- Who can participate: No participants are required as the study uses de-identified samples.
- Study details: The study focuses on testing de-identified samples using the Panther instrument. No direct participant involvement or placebo is involved in this process.
