Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to test whether the blood vessels abnormality that occurs in lupus can be indirectly measured with cells that are involved in the vessel damage and repair process.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: lupus
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the abnormalities in blood vessels seen in lupus can be measured indirectly. This will be done by examining cells that are involved in the damage and repair of blood vessels. Lupus is a disease where the immune system attacks healthy tissues, and it can affect many parts of the body, including the blood vessels.

Participants in this study will undergo procedures to collect and analyze cells related to blood vessel damage and repair. These procedures are designed to better understand how lupus affects blood vessels and to find new ways to measure these changes.

  • Who can participate: Adults diagnosed with lupus.
  • Study details: Participants will have cells collected and analyzed to study blood vessel damage and repair in lupus. The study aims to explore methods to measure changes in blood vessels. No placebo is mentioned in the study details.
