Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of revascularization in coronary artery disease patients undergoing non cardiac surgeries in improving or worsening the cardiac status during the perioperative period.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of revascularization in coronary artery disease patients undergoing non cardiac surgeries in improving or worsening the cardiac status during the perioperative period.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: coronary artery disease
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the role of revascularization, which is a procedure to restore blood flow to the heart, in patients with coronary artery disease who are undergoing non-cardiac surgeries. Coronary artery disease is a condition where the blood vessels supplying the heart become narrowed or blocked, which can affect heart function.

Participants in this study will undergo procedures related to revascularization. The study will compare the effects on cardiac status during the perioperative period, which is the time surrounding the surgery, to determine if revascularization improves or worsens heart health.

  • Who can participate: Participants should be adults diagnosed with coronary artery disease, with specific age criteria to be determined.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo revascularization procedures to evaluate its impact on heart health during the perioperative period. If applicable, a placebo may be used: an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine.
