The purpose of this study is to understand how people go about making culpability judgments in situations where police officers use excessive force.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how people make decisions about blame when police officers use too much force. It aims to understand the thought process behind these judgments.

Participants will be asked to review scenarios involving police use of force and provide their opinions on who is responsible. This will help researchers learn more about public perceptions of police actions.
