The purpose of this study is to chart the factors which influence the processing of sentences in French by learners of French L2.

The purpose of this study is to chart the factors which influence the processing of sentences in French by learners of French L2.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how people learning French as a second language understand and process sentences in French. It aims to identify the various factors that affect their sentence comprehension.

Participants will be asked to read and interpret sentences in French. The study will observe and record the different ways learners process these sentences to better understand the learning process.

  • Who can participate: Individuals aged 18-50 who are currently learning French as a second language may be eligible to participate. Key eligibility factors include being at an intermediate level of proficiency and having no prior history of language processing disorders.
  • Study details: Participants will read sentences in French and their comprehension will be observed. The study will focus on the methods used by learners to understand the sentences.
