The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of regional dialects.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 18 years - 35 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how a person's residential history might affect their perception of different regional dialects. Regional dialects are variations in language specific to particular areas, often marked by differences in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.

Participants will be asked to listen to various audio samples of regional dialects and provide their perceptions or impressions. Their residential history will be collected to see if it influences their perception of these dialects.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18-65 who have lived in at least two different regions for a minimum of five years each are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will listen to audio samples of different regional dialects and share their impressions. Their residential history will be recorded to analyze its impact on dialect perception.
