The purpose of this study is to examine how medical labels affect the stigmatization and status loss of individuals who exhibit deviant behavior.

The purpose of this study is to examine how medical labels affect the stigmatization and status loss of individuals who exhibit deviant behavior.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how medical labels can influence the stigma and loss of status for people who show behaviors that are different from what is considered normal. Stigmatization is when people are unfairly treated or looked down upon because of certain characteristics or behaviors, and this study aims to understand how labeling someone with a medical term might contribute to this.

Participants will be observed to see if medical labels change the way they are perceived by others. The study will involve assessing the reactions and attitudes of others towards individuals with and without medical labels to determine any differences in treatment or perception.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to individuals who exhibit behaviors that might be considered different or unusual. There are no specific age restrictions.
