The purpose of this study is to identify and pilot an advising intervention during new student orientation aimed at building awareness of how students can augment their studies with technology skills. This study investigates how advising can influence students' understanding and integration of technology skills in their academic pursuits.
Participants in this study will engage in an advising intervention during orientation, where they will receive information and guidance on incorporating technology skills into their studies. The intervention aims to enhance students' academic experience by highlighting the importance of technology competencies.
