Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to understand what older adults want to track, remind, or monitor if they had the ability to augment their crafting/hobby practices with electronics, and to observe older adult populations as they participate in crafting/hobby groups in hopes of identifying ways to incorporate maker technology into their efforts.

The purpose of this study is to understand what older adults want to track, remind, or monitor if they had the ability to augment their crafting/hobby practices with electronics, and to observe older adult populations as they participate in crafting/hobby groups in hopes of identifying ways to incorporate maker technology into their efforts.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how older adults can enhance their crafting or hobby activities using electronics. The purpose is to find out what aspects of their hobbies they would like to track, remind, or monitor with the help of technology.

Participants will be observed while engaging in their crafting or hobby groups. The study aims to identify effective ways to integrate maker technology into their activities.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to adults aged 60 and older who are involved in crafting or hobby groups.
  • Study details: Participants will engage in their usual crafting or hobby activities while researchers observe how they might use electronic tools or devices to enhance their experience.
