Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: hearing loss

Age: 55 years - 79 years

Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to compare the benefits resulting from two different ways of providing hearing aids to adults with hearing loss. Hearing loss is a condition where a person is unable to hear as well as someone with normal hearing. This can affect communication and quality of life.
Participants in this study will be assigned to one of two study arms. Each arm will involve a different method of receiving hearing aids. The study will measure how these methods impact the participants' hearing and communication abilities.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and over with hearing loss who are eligible to use hearing aids can participate.
- Study details: Participants will be assigned to one of two study arms, each using a different method of receiving hearing aids. If applicable, a placebo will be used, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine.
