The purpose of this study is to assess the conferred benefits of undergraduate research experiences (URE), related to competency in the practice of laboratory techniques, the ability to work independently, scientific discourse, and literature comprehension.

This study investigates the benefits of undergraduate research experiences (URE) on students' skills and abilities. The study focuses on how participating in research can improve students' laboratory techniques, their ability to work independently, engage in scientific discussions, and understand scientific literature.
Participants will engage in various activities that simulate real-world research environments. They will practice laboratory techniques and work on developing their skills in scientific discourse and literature comprehension.
- Who can participate: The study is open to undergraduate students aged 18-25 who are interested in gaining research experience and have completed at least one laboratory course.
- Study details: Participants will perform tasks that involve practicing laboratory techniques and engaging in scientific discussions. They will also work on understanding and interpreting scientific literature.
