The purpose of this study is to use a methodology known as the Speech Cycling Task to discover patterns in the speech rhythm of the Akan language spoken in Ghana.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the speech rhythm patterns of the Akan language, which is spoken in Ghana. The study uses a method called the Speech Cycling Task to analyze how speech rhythms are formed and maintained in this language.

Participants in the study will engage in speech tasks designed to cycle through various speech patterns. The Speech Cycling Task helps researchers understand the timing and rhythm of speech by having participants repeat specific phrases in a controlled manner.
