HemoTaxi Demonstration Project
Study on Blood Collection Methods in Healthy Adults
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to see if blood can be collected using the HemoTaxi while you get fluids through an IV.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that there is no clinical difference between blood specimens collected through the HemoTaxi device and phlebotomy venipuncture in healthy adults.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate if blood can be collected using a device called HemoTaxi while participants receive fluids through an intravenous (IV) line. The study aims to demonstrate that there is no clinical difference between blood samples collected using the HemoTaxi device and those collected through traditional phlebotomy venipuncture in healthy adults.
Participants will undergo procedures where blood is drawn using both the HemoTaxi device and the traditional method of phlebotomy venipuncture. This will help to compare the effectiveness and reliability of the HemoTaxi device in collecting blood samples.
- Who can participate: Healthy adults aged 18 and over are eligible to participate in this study.
- Study details: Participants will have blood drawn using both the HemoTaxi device and traditional phlebotomy methods for comparison.
