The purpose of this study is to determine the development of learner consonant cluster production/pronunciation (/tr/, /dr/, and /kr/) in Spanish by native English speakers.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to understand how native English speakers learn to pronounce certain consonant clusters in Spanish. These clusters include sounds like /tr/, /dr/, and /kr/. The study focuses on the development of these pronunciation skills.

Participants will be involved in various activities to assess their pronunciation of these consonant clusters. This may include listening exercises and speaking tasks to evaluate their progress in producing these sounds correctly.

  • Who can participate: Native English speakers aged 18 and above who are learning Spanish are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will engage in exercises that test their ability to pronounce specific Spanish consonant clusters. These activities aim to track improvements in pronunciation skills.
