A Prospective Randomized Trial to Assess Optimal Postoperative Feeding Regiments following Pyloromyotomy
Study on Postoperative Feeding Regimens for Infants
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to determine which type of postoperative feeding regimen, an incremental feeding regimen or an ad-lib regimen, most effectively and safely advances an infant to goal feeds and promotes a more timely discharge.

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates different feeding regimens for infants who have undergone surgery. The focus is on comparing two types of feeding approaches: incremental feeding, where the amount of food is gradually increased, and ad-lib feeding, where the infant is allowed to eat as desired. The aim is to find out which method helps infants reach their feeding goals safely and quickly.
Participants in the study will be placed into one of two study arms. One arm will follow the incremental feeding regimen, and the other will follow the ad-lib feeding regimen. Researchers will monitor the infants' progress to determine which regimen leads to faster recovery and discharge.
- Who can participate: Eligibility criteria are not specified in the provided information.
- Study details: Participants will be assigned to one of two study arms to follow different feeding regimens.
