The purpose of this research is to characterize the nature of perceptual expertise in face and fingerprint identification.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how people become experts at recognizing faces and fingerprints. Perceptual expertise refers to the ability to recognize patterns and details that others might miss. This study aims to understand how such expertise develops and what factors contribute to it.

Participants will engage in tasks related to face and fingerprint identification. These tasks will help researchers observe and measure the participants' ability to identify and differentiate between faces and fingerprints. The study will not involve any medical procedures or treatments.
