The purpose of this study is to learn about the difference between those who play the smartphone app "Pokemon Go" and those who do not. Specifically, if those who play the app have better mental health outcomes and higher physical activity levels than those who do not play.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the difference between those who play the smartphone app "Pokemon Go" and those who do not. Specifically, if those who play the app have better mental health outcomes and higher physical activity levels than those who do not play.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of playing a smartphone app on mental health and physical activity. This study will compare individuals who play the app with those who do not to understand if there are differences in mental health outcomes and activity levels.

Participants will be divided into two study arms: those who play the smartphone app and those who do not. The study will involve assessing mental health and physical activity levels to determine any differences between the two groups.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and above who own a smartphone.
  • Study details: Participants will be asked to either play or refrain from playing the 'Pokemon Go' app. Their mental health and physical activity levels will be assessed and compared between the two groups.
