The purpose of the study is to establish a database of histoplasmosis and blastomycosis cases that are seen and treated on the IU-IU Health campus.

The purpose of the study is to establish a database of histoplasmosis and blastomycosis cases that are seen and treated on the IU-IU Health campus.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: histoplasmosis,blastomycosis
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates histoplasmosis and blastomycosis, which are infections caused by fungi. The purpose is to create a database of cases seen and treated at the IU-IU Health campus. Histoplasmosis and blastomycosis can affect the lungs and other parts of the body, and understanding these cases can help in managing the conditions.

Participants in this study will have their medical information collected to contribute to the database. This information will be used to better understand how these infections present and are treated in a healthcare setting. No experimental treatments or interventions are involved in this study.
