The goal of this project is to understand the mechanism by which humans acquire preferences for bitter and pungent compounds and then to examine which health outcomes and eating behaviors correlate with the establishment of these preferences.

This study investigates how people develop a liking for bitter and pungent compounds. Bitter and pungent compounds are substances that can taste sharp or have a strong flavor. The study aims to understand if liking these flavors affects how people eat.
Participants will be asked to taste and rate different foods and report their eating habits. The study will observe any changes in their eating behavior related to these flavors.
